IMA Hospital Board of India (IMA HBI) participated in an interaction meeting with Ajay Seth, Chairman of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, held at Hyatt Regency New Delhi on 17th March 2026.
The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration between healthcare providers and insurers to improve transparency, efficiency, and patient-centric care delivery in India.
IMA HBI is proud to be included in the Insurance Working Group, representing the Hospital Board of India. The working groups will address key areas such as 1. Joint code of conduct, 2. Categorisation of healthcare providers (Identification of Relevant Parameters & Classification), 3. Adoption of National Health Claims Exchange (NHCX), 4. Focused Studies (Claim Trends, Cashless vs Reimbursement, Medical Inflation), 5. Basic Product and Wellness Cover. This initiative marks an important step towards strengthening the healthcare-insurance ecosystem in the country.
