Sridhar, President Indian Medial Association Tamilnadu State and Joint Online by Dr. T. Nirmal Fredrick, AIOS and Prof. Dr. J.A. Jayalal, President, CMA
The meeting provided an important platform to discuss critical issues affecting hospitals and healthcare providers, including empanelment policies, reimbursement systems, clinical autonomy, and strengthening trust between insurers and healthcare institutions.
Key focus areas included:
- Ensuring scientific and transparent costing mechanisms
- Protecting clinical autonomy and patient choice
- Addressing payment delays and financial sustainability
- Strengthening collaboration between insurers and healthcare providers
- Establishing structured grievance redressal mechanisms
